Having a stamp on your hand the day after going to the old 9:30 Club was a badge of honor in my high school. Back then it was sort of scary to go into that part of town at night. I remember my dad working overnights at UPI and me sleeping on floor of his office after shows since there was no way to get home. I saw many memorable shows there, including Bad Brains, Fishbone, Skinny Puppy, but the best one had to be Thrill Kill Cult's light show.
