An old PSU newspaper and writing-class colleague of mine, Laura Wexler, has written a book that's been getting some serious ink. Here are reviews from The Washington Post and Salon.com. I know she worked on it for a relatively long time. For somebody who's used to the instant gratification of a record review or a half-baked blog entry, her effort has served as a lesson that truly meaningful writing projects don't wrap up tidily in a few weeks.
